[USS Hephaistos] :: Aut viam inveniam aut faciam

Aut viam inveniam aut faciam

The USS Hephaistos (The Mighty H to her crew) was named after the Greek Olympic God of fire, smiths, craftsmen, metalworking, stonemasonry and sculpture. This state of the art Ascension class vessel is just at home in a firefight as she is scanning cosmic anomalies or developing and producing new tech on the go. Her motto is by the old earth General Hannibal "aut viam inveniam aut faciam" - I will find a way or make one.

Given her size and scale The Mighty H falls into a very unique category of starship where much like the galaxy glass of vessels she has a big capacity for civilians. So whether you are looking to fly the biggest ship in the fleet, handle the engineering quirks of the most advanced technology or start up your own club the help the masses of sweaty Starfleet personnel relax the USS Hephaistos is the place you.

» End of an Era

Posted on Wed Jul 4th, 2018 @ 1:22am by Captain James Warrington in Sim Announcement

Greetings Folks.

So I wanted to let you know of a decision that I've been thinking about for the last month. The TLDR is that for a variety of reasons I have decided to close the Hephaistos. While this is the end of an era here I am not stepping down from a command per se. Instead I will be trying something new under Division 74. For those that don't know Division 74 is where Pegasus Fleet supports non canon or even non startrek sims of all kinds and flavours. I hope to see a couple of you there. Admiral S'irra will be in touch soon to help you transfer characters to a new sim if you wish. This website will also be left live for the next two months.

It has been a pleasure and I look forward to the next chapter.

Live Long and Prosper.

Hi Folks,

Firstly thank you all for bearing with the transition to the new website. Apart from 1 or 2 characters everything has been transferred to the new website and since it's hosted with PF this should be the last time we need to do that. Please finish up any R&R posts over the next two weeks.

Secondly the new mission is available for viewing here: https://hephaistos.pegasusfleet.net/index.php/sim/missions/id/2
Read it and get ready to rollios. We launch on Saturday and can begin posting to it then.

Lastly we are in need of some new players so if you know anyone looking for another sim please feel free to direct them here!

Thanks,

Captain James Warrington

Serenity dropships were one of the Marine Corps less useful ships in recent years. Used primarily for combat zones and hostile environments to set up temporary bases quickly they did however serve fit for purpose for the Hephaistos today. Warrington had ordered 5 on board with a variety of pods…

Tracy stared at the chronometer on the wall in her quarters. It was 19:45 and she had a dinner invitation with the Captain at 20:00. A lot of things were going through her mind. Should she dress casual, wear her standard uniform or put on her dress uniform. She had…

Walking onto the bridge at the start of a mission never got old. The excitement amongst the crew was palpable at this stage and as James walked around the massive room to his center chair the engineer in him had yet another chuckle about the wasted room here. As he…

With most of the fighters now on board Smith was starting to relax. They had just 6 hours to get the final flight docked, stowed and ready to go again. This batch thankfully came not with the bases hodge podge of amateur fliers, (Pat was a bit annoyed at one…

Mission: R&R

Calista materialized on the transporter pad and gave the operator a smile. "Thank you Chief." She said as she stepped down and entered the corridor. The Hephaistos was a behemoth of a starship, the fact it carried civilians made her think back to the start of her career and her…
